Based in the picture perfect Seychelles, our Marine Conservation Career Internship offers the opportunity for you to enter the marine conservation industry by providing valuable first-hand experience in contributing to valuable coral reef and marine research regarding the health of the African reefs.
This Career Internships provides you with the necessary practical skills training needed for a career in conservation. As an intern, you will also complete University Endorsed online courses which ensures that you have adequate theoretical experience.
Upon succesful completion, you will have the opportunity to work with a career coach and will be given access to a job portal that lists a vast range of careers for good. If you decide to stay for 6 months, you will be offered a Career Success Guarantee.
Aufgaben
Deine Aufgaben
PADI dive Training
Participants will be certified in PADI Advanced Open Water and PADI Coral Reef Researcher Speciality Courses.
Marine Conservation
Daily, participants will be diving to collect data on fish, invertebrates and the coral reef.
University Endorsed Online Courses
Complete a leadership course, careers in sustainable development and marine conservation online course. All of which have been created and endorsed by the University of Richmond and UNC Charlotte in the United States.
Work with Virtual Project Partners
Alongside your in-country program, you will have the opportunity to work with international project partners virtually to solve real life issues.
Career Coaching
At the end of your program, you will be offered access to a job portal and will have two sessions with a career coach.

Voraussetzungen
Die Anforderungen
PADI Open Water Certified
All interns are required to be PADI Open Water certified - this can easily be obtained in Seychelles prior to joining the Career Internship with us.
Language - English
A basic understanding of the English language is required, participants should also be able to commuunicate well with others in English. The course material is delivered in English.
Payment of the Program Fee
This program has a fee that needs to be paid in order for intern to join, this has to be paid prior to joining the program.
